Full length play WHERE THERE’S A WILL by Mahesh Dattani, remounted in Toronto at Alumnae Theatre in April from April 12th to 21st. A comedy of the drawing room variety, telling the story of a rich, controlling patriarch, Hasmukh Mehta. Despite its comedy, the play offers a poignant and introspective look at women in their own homes being marginalized by patriarchal codes.
