November 25, 2006 – FROM HERE TO THERE –
SYNOPSIS :
Two performances of the award-winning play by Janice Goveas, directed by Prakash Date, presented at the Burnhamthorpe Library Theatre, Mississauga to mark the INTERNATIONAL DAY FOR THE ELIMINATION OF VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN within the context of the United Nations campaign for women’s and girls’ human rights. FROM HERE TO THERE – calls attention to domestic violence against women. Each performance was followed by a Q & A session and featured a panel of experts from social service organizations.
